An update from Grindleton Community Pub Steering Team

Firstly, we hope you and your families are keeping well.
Over the last few months things have been a little quiet for the Community Pub & Café team, but that is about to change!
Ribble Valley Council has advised that the Planning Committee will meet, via Zoom, on Thursday 25 June at 5pm, to make a decision on the application for ‘change of use’ of the Duke of York (from pub to residential). This decision is KEY regarding future plans for a Community Pub & Café in Grindleton.
The applicant and one objector will be able to address the meeting for a maximum of three minutes. Grindleton Community Pub Ltd will speak to make the case for rejection of the application. Our Ward Councillor, Bridget Hilton, will also speak at the meeting.
The vote will take place and the result will be announced at that meeting.
Members of the public can follow the proceedings online and we will share details of how to do so when available (next week).
Thank you for your continuing support!
